Somali singer and songwriter Abdi Tahlil Warsame has died in Mogadishu last night, after a long illness, the Somali government said.
Abdi Tahilil Warsame’s death was confirmed by a statement posted on his Twitter account by Somali Information Minister Ismail Oronjo.
“Ina Lilahi should be a radiologist, it has now been confirmed that the famous artist Abdi Tahlil Warsame has died in Mogadishu in recent times,” the spokesman said.
Abdi Tahliil’s health is deteriorating lately, and he has received no comprehensive care from the Somali government.
Abdi Tahlil Warsame has been at the forefront of high-value music among Somali artists, and his songs are at the top of the list of literary uses by the Somali community.
Abdi Tahlil Warsame, he was born in Wardher in 1952.
In 1968 the singer recorded his second song Onkod, which became very popular. Heestan, who is still at the forefront of public interest, is entrusted by poet Ahmed Saleban Bide.
In 1971, he participated in a live music competition with singers, including Abdullahi Omar Hirago, Abdi Hassan Dige, Omar Nur Abdulle and Hassan Adan Samatar.

Among the other teams he worked with were Tahliil’s team, which included Danan as one of the club’s top leaders.
