Ethiopian PM Talk teleconference with Somalia President

Addis Ababa (AL): – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed spoke on the phone, according to a tweet posted on his Twitter account.

The two leaders exchanged important information on the Horn of Africa region and the situation in the region, just days before the Danish government announced it was neutral in the dispute between Egypt and Ethiopia over the Nile.

Aby Ahmed said that President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and he discussed with him the strengthening of relations between the two governments and the co-operation to prevent Coronavirus infection.

The prime minister said that the Farmajo talks were part of a telephone conversation with all the leaders of the IGAD member states, including the Presidents of Djibouti, Kenya, South Sudan, Eritrea and Sudan.

Abiy Ahmed noted that the leaders shared the best way to fight infection Coronavirus, and agreed to meet together looga state level does not spread.
