Malawi’s Foreign Minister Says Falsehoods Spreaded After Visit to Somaliland

Malawi’s Foreign Minister Eisenhower Mkaka has denied reports on social media that he had taken a Malawi-owned plane that caused civilian flights to be blocked.

The minister was responding to Malawi’s Onjezani Kenani, a well-known Malawian on social media who had previously accused the minister of taking a private jet.
Speaking on his visit, the Minister said that Somaliland had seceded from Somalia and that was what Malawi was looking at.
